Aspire Ethos 5943G and 8943G stand out thanks to stylish design and powerful configuration with Core i7 processor and ATI discrete card.
Introduced almost 2 months ago, but at Computex 2010 it was the first time that Acer let users see its high-end product line. Two models of the series introduced are 5943G (15.6 inch screen) and 8943G (18.4 inch screen) with Cinematic Surround speaker system 2.1 or up to 5.1 in model 8943G.
Different from the version that appeared on Pocket-lint before, at Computex this time, both were introduced with the most powerful hardware configuration with Core i7-720QM clocked at 1.6GHz. However, the 5943G "only" has 4GB of DDR3 RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics card 8943G has up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 graphics card.
Aspire Ethos line sold this month with a starting price of about 1,650 USD (for model Intel Core i5 processor configuration, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB hard drive, Blu-ray optical drive).
