Samsung Galaxy S8 launched users with beautiful design and accompanied by extremely attractive features. In addition, the Galaxy S8 also uses a 3000 mAh battery that supports fast charging, no battery problems, allowing users to experience applications for many hours. However, if you still want to increase the "power" of the battery, reduce battery consumption to the lowest level, you can adjust a few settings right on the Galaxy S8.
1. Adjust screen resolution:
Galaxy S8 impresses by the quality screen called the infinity screen (Infinity Display), especially the large resolution with full HD default. Of course, using this full HD mode will give users a more special experience when watching movies, surfing the web or playing games on the device. But sometimes it's not really necessary to use the maximum resolution of WQHD + on the device, like when we text, listen to music, ...
So, if we have no need to use it, we should adjust the screen resolution so that it is reasonable. We swipe down from the top edge of the screen and select Performance mode then adjust the resolution at Screen resolution. We leave full HD resolution is reasonable for all usage needs.
2. Adjust screen brightness on Galaxy S8:
Whether with the Galaxy S8 or any other device, leaving the screen light too large is not recommended because it will affect the user's vision, but also make the battery drain more. We open the quick settings panel on the device and then select the small arrow next to it Brightness slider, then switch the button Auto brightness to modeTurn off (Off).
3. Adjust screen timeout:
On each device there will be a timeout to turn off the screen, after the user does not have any action on the device. By default on the Galaxy S8 the standby time will be 15 seconds at the lowest. Ideally, users should stay at this timeout level. In case you want to readjust, visit Settings> Display> Screen timeout.
4. Disable Always-On screen:
On the Always-On screen, we can see the messages, without having to turn on the machine as usual. And when using Always-On, the screen on the device will continuously light up and also drain battery capacity.
To disable Always-On screen, we go to Settings> Lock screen and security> Always On Display and turn it off. If you want to see notifications on the Galaxy S8, users just need to press the physical Home button on the device.
5. Put the app in Sleep mode:
One of the useful features on the Galaxy S8 is putting installed apps into sleep mode. Users often have the habit of exiting apps by pressing the Home button and the app will be in the background, consuming battery capacity on the device.
And the Sleep feature on the Galaxy S8 will prevent the app from running in the background, and you won't get notifications. When we reopen the application it will always start running in the background and receive notifications as usual.
First of all, you Press and hold on the app's icon there and the application's settings pop-up appears. We press select Sleep in the list and click OK in the confirmation pop-up.
The above are some methods to save battery power on Galaxy S8 devices. The battery drain on the Galaxy S8 has not happened yet, but users should adjust some settings to reduce consumption of space on the device.
