Truth Arena: A combination of 4 strong squads despite the current meta
Gunner / Sword Away Squad
- Miss Fortune / Lucian
How to position the squad: This lineup does not currently have any main tanks, so spread your line-up to the back row on the ring with ADC in the bottom corner. Gangplank and Shen will now be the main tank, standing with Aatrox at the edge of the tank as sub-tank. When Yasuo has Yasuo, push Yasuo outside to lure the tankers and lure Blitzcrank if any.
Prioritize the Blade of the Ruins to Tristana to increase attack speed and make her a main swordsman for later. Items that will then debuff Tristana will include the Clergy Sword, the Red Amulet, the Scarlet Sword, and the Silent Sword. Another item that you should have is Zeke's Flag.
The starting phase will be for ADCs. You'll want to save Graves, Lucian and Tristana for a later time in the game. Stack any items you don't want Tristana on Lucian because you might replace Lucian for Miss Fortune later.
By the middle of the game, if you got the Blade of the Ruin for Tristana, you already have the Visitor Sword pretty early with Shen, Aatrox or Gangplank. If not, you will have to wait a bit to level up and temporarily put another general on the board.
By the end of the game, focus on leveling up and finding the last piece of the puzzle for the squad. Draven isn't too hard to find right now, but Miss Fortune and Yasuo will be a bit harder, keep Lucian until you find Miss Fortune.
Gladiator / Void / Assassin Formation
Total buff you will have 4 Gladiators, 3 Void, 3 Assassins
How to position the squad: All Gladiators should line up in the bottom row or cluster on the opposite corner of the enemy formation. If so, the enemy formation will have to move further and there is room for the Assassins to jump into the back row.
The three main champions that can carry a good team in this roster will be Cho'Gath, Blitzcrank, Rengar / Akali. Rengar is being buffed / nerfed unstable, so depending on the equipment you can build hand damage items for Akali and Rengar.
With Cho'Gath you should give this general the Armor Angel and Demon Mail Morello to be able to live longer. If "aggressive" equipment is more, Blitzcrank has just been buffed quite strongly, he can be stacked with equipment and carry a very powerful team with Cannon Barrage + Spear Shojin + Statikk Electric Knife / Luden Vigil.
In the early game, you can pick the Kassadin + Kha'Zix + Rek'Sai combo to get the Void first and make the Gladiator team quite buff. Or choose Pyke and Rengar from the start to get a pretty strong Assassin with 2 Gladiators at first if you don't like Void.
Also, you should pick Rengar at the beginning of the game, the 1 star Rengar is weak but 2 stars is strong. You should also find Cho'Gath as soon as you reach level 6 as quickly as possible to let Kassadin out and take a main tank with damage in the team. Please combine equipment slowly and up your team to at least 2 stars with Rengar, Rek'Sai, Kha'Zix, Blitzcrank up to 3 stars as possible because it's easier to find.
Archer / Ice Nation / Guardian formation
How to position the squad:The Guardians in this formation should stay in the top row to block the most appropriate attack. Gunners are in the bottom row to attack or receive buffs from the Zeke Flag. Avoid cornering to get pulled back by Blitzcrank. You can drop bait to lure Blitzcrank to protect your team with Volibear and Mordekaiser.
For ADCs, you should stack a lot of Archery / Electric Knife / Rageblade for Archers and Ma Vu / Ice Heart for your tankers. The two champions that should be stacked the most are Ashe and Varus.
Especially Ashe should have Thuong Shojin and Cuong Cung to stun and unleash continuously. With Varus you also stack similar items as Ashe so that Varus can do more damage.
At this time, the tankers will become buffalo if receiving buffs from 2 Guardians. Just go on Thorns Armor to deal damage or to Frost Heart for mana. And added Dragon Swipe to counter Mage and Aatrox spell play.
Mage / Void / Gladiator formation
- Aurelion Sol
The total buff you will have is: 6 Wizards, 3 Void, 2 Gladiators
How to position the squad: The Mage cornered in a corner, the Gladiator put the table at the top of the team. Lulu throws it out as sub-tank. If the enemy team is not on the assassin, spread out the entire formation to attract the enemy team from the main group of wizards.
Cho'Gath will be the main carry team for this squad with Veigar. With Yuumi in, Cho'Gath will turn into a mage + buff Void + some equipment such as Demon Book, Witch Hat, and Luden Vigil will become the main dame.
As for Veigar, you will need the most basic equipment, Spear Shojin and some other items such as Dragon Swipe / Ma Vu and get 3 stars, then one-hit, one-kill right away, sounds interesting?
You should not force the Wizard squad at the beginning of the game, but use the Wild / Void / Gladiator formation first with Kassadin, Warwick, Ahri to get these 3 buffs. Next, we will gradually move to Gladiator / Witch and Yordle with 2 main Yordles, Lulu - Veigar. If you have good dignity, you can find Cho'Gath from level 6, now you should start focusing on the correct team according to the instructions above, remember to equip Yuumi for Cho'Gath.
As for Karthus you can snatch at the market, if you don't see Karthus, you can choose Aurelion Sol. But if you choose Aurelion Sol, you need to be 2 stars and have equipment to be effective.
If you buy the right items and have the right staff according to the instructions to build the DTCL squad above, your team can easily win the enemy squad with the strongest squad in the Truth Arena.
